we had our winter retreat at aumc this weekend !! it was so much fun! building relationships with these friends here was possibly the best thing ever! also, the place we went was really cool! SIFAT is awesome! Their goal being to share God' love thruogh service, education and personal involvement with a needy world; SIFAT works with leaders in other countries teaching them concrete ways to make a difference in the lives of the poor around the world. They train how to purify water, how to give vaccinations , and other important things that would help improve the living conditions and health of these villages and people. We stayed in a lodge that had all the flags of the countries inwhich they are involved with. I found it so relaxing to lay on the floor staring up at the Honduran flag. We decided this summer we are going to buy the Guatemalan and Honduran flag and put them in our living room next year :) yay.

I was hungry and you formed a humanities group to discuss my hunger. I was
imprisonedand you crept off quietly to your chapel and prayed for my release.I
was naked and in your mind you debated the morality of my appearance.I was sick
and you knelt and thanked God for your health. I was homeless andyou preached to
me the spiritual love of God. I was lonely and you left me alone to pray for me.
You seem so holy, so close to God,But I am still very hungry --and lonely --and cold.
