rice and beans

so, we do have a curfew but that hasnt stopped us yet! we did street ministry this morning till lunch then went out to the farm to see the boys! it was a great time! one of the families we stopped by to see had a bad time last night with all of the rain. As the river of water began to pass through her house, and it carried away her blood pressure medicine , she stopped and prayed and asked God to send Stan and the north americans today.  And we could have stayed home, but God had bigger plans! So we gave out bags and bags of rice and beans and clothing and it was amazing!  Then we went to the farm and got to spend some time with Lupe, who makes amazing tortillas .. and i got to practice spanish with Rosel!  .. but tomorrow we will be practicing english ! It was an overall GREAT day , and can't wait to see what God has for tomorrow!

i want everyone back home to know we are safe and to be praying for the people of Honduras.  The media has turned around what has happened here and they are really worried about what the leaders of other countries are going to do if they support Zelaya.  Yesterday was the day that he was getting the country to vote to let him remain on the ballot for re-election , and that is against the constitution, so he has been trying to change the constitution.  He claims his release is an attack on democracy but really he is the one who has been attacking democracy and is leading the country toward communism. CNN states ... ""This was a brutal kidnapping of me with no justification," Zelaya said. He called the coup an attack on Honduran democracy. "There are ways to protest without arms," Zelaya said"    .... yeh right!
I agree with Lori, "If Obama was breaking the law and trying to change the constitution regardless of the government and the people, would the people of America just stand by??? Would he not be impeached and removed from power? Why should the people of Honduras be condemned for trying to keep democracy? The fact that Obama agrees with Chavez should scare everyone to death! "
