Our day really began by going to the store to pick up something from andres , then he said he had to go to the city to pick up stuff for the store they own. cristina said that sometimes her and the kids go with him and its a lot of fun and she asked us if we wanted to go. Now , we are up for anything. And a trip to the city is nothing! So of course we said yes ... but it wasnt our normal trip to the city. This trip to the city consisted of 45 minutes on bumpy roads singing to the top of our lungs with Samuel and Ana Ester. ... oh yeh, and I forgot to mention that this was all in the BED OF THE TRUCK! ... yes, gringos , riding in the bed of a truck, all the way to the city. I'm happy for all the people who drove past us and got a good laugh cause its not something you'll see twice in your lifetime. It definitely not something we would have chosen to do, yet now something we would so do again!
Now the best part. i know, youre thinking "It gets better??" , oh it does. After we had picked up all of the stuff for their store the back of the truck was packed! Soo, on our way back to antigua all 8 of us, yes, all 8 of us sad in the front of the truck which was made for 3 people (uncomforably 3 people). Yes, Annie and I got to explain to Cristina how in alabama youll see a van of hispanic people stop somewhere and it seems like they just never stop coming out. Yeh, that was us yesterday. AND traffic was bad in the city so instead of taking us 45 minutes to get back to antigua it took us 2 hours!
It was a wonderful last day with them and we wouldnt trade it for anything!
