today we had our first ONE outreach with our college group in Auburn!
It was a wonderful wonderful day and we can't wait to do it again!
So today was Auburn's first adopt-a-block!
We went to a part of Auburn thats pretty neglected. Some groups around Auburn do stuff in the projects of Auburn but this is a part of town that just outside of the projects and is not usually ministered to.
They were so excited the other day when we told them we would be coming today.
The people we met were so sweet and so receptive!
We played with the kids for hours!
Some people from our group went to each house on the street to pray with them and get to know them and discover their needs.
We plan on going to back on the second Saturday of every month and can't wait to build relationships with this sweet community!
